adidas’ success has been linked to toeing the line between performance and heritage, and with this “RUN THRU TIME” pack, the Brand with Three Stripes again explores that relationship. Inspired by the Boston Super and Marathon TR models from the archive, the UltraBoost Mid and Energy Boost implement Primeknit construction and Boost cushioning with a nod to the minimal designs of runners from the past. The UltraBoost Mid features a cuffed sock construction in blue with blue suede mudguards and eyestays, along with a grey heel cup and a cageless construction with knit stripes. The Energy Boost features tonal grey Primeknit with a plastic cage with grey suede hits on the toe, heel, and tongue over a Boost midsole with a red stripe. Two Climacool caps also accompany the collection, one in blue and another in white, with a reflective logo and white and red stripes.

The entire collection will be available at midnight EST Tuesday, July 18th at Also available on Wednesday, July 19th in-store at both Packer locations.

When adidas introduced the Ultra Boost, they shifted the game with a model that blends style and comfort. A”Triple Black” edition combines a black painted Boost midsole with a blacked out upper with a new wrinkle — a matted out heel cup. The white model mixes a foggy white cage and a hint of grey on the inner midsole bumper.

adidas Originals NMD_XR1 “OG” ($150)

In 2015, when adidas introduced the NMD_R1, a minimalist juggernaut of a sneaker came on the scene in the same colorway adopted here to the NMD_XR1. This “OG” colorway features black on the upper, TPU cage, and outsole over a white Boost midsole with red and blue bumpers. A black leather heel tab holds the white heel pull, cinching the look.

This past weekend, we partnered up with adidas Football and adidas Running to launch the UltraBoost Cleat in two new colorways. In conjunction with the Cleat, we also dropped two UltraBoost 3.0s in the same triple white and black/silver colorways.

On hand to help us launch the drop was NFL 1st-round hopeful and newly-signed adidas athlete, Jabrill Peppers, a local hometown hero who attended Paramus Catholic High School. Many came out to celebrate the star athlete, including his old high school coach, Dan Sabella, and athletic director, Scott Langan, who were surprised with a $10,000 check on behalf of adidas and Packer that would go towards a scholarship fund for gifted athletes. A diverse crowd of fans showed up as well — everyone from adidas diehards to Paramus Catholic alum to Michigan faithful.

Check out the full event recap below and stay tuned leading up to this Thursday’s NFL Draft for some more surprises still to come from adidas and Packer.

adidas Running WMNS Ultraboost X – Blue/Pink ($180)

The adidas Ultraboost X for women takes the popular design and morphs it with a floating arch to keep the wearer’s foot extra snug. The cage is also lifted to show the arch while the mixed blue and pink Primeknit upper and sock construction keep the shoe extra light. Boost cushioning softens the landing, while a Continental outsole provides traction.

Two women’s options for the ubiquitous NMD have arrived, each with an understated color palette. The grey and burgundy model mixes a mesh upper with a contrasting heel patch and heel pull, while the white model boasts an earth-toned green heel to offset the variations of white that play off each other.
