The Futurecraft project at adidas developed 4D technology using light, air, and liquid to craft its unique midsole. This CONSORTIUM 4D Runner mixes tonal grey Primeknit with a shade of mint green on the Three Stripes branding and tongue logos. A grey Continental outsole adds traction and stability to this Runner that gives its wearer a peek into the the future of footwear.

Early 2000s basketball sneakers and attire inspire this collection from adidas and LA’s Bristol Studio. The Bristol Crazy BYW LVL I and the Bristol Crazy BYW LVL II use nylon, canvas, and suede on the uppers set over Boost midsoles in colorways that mix earth toned cream and grey on one model and black and cream on another. Era-specific nylon crinkle is used on some of the items in the apparel collection that ranges from tear-away pants, a warm up track top, a shooting t shirt, shorts, and jersey in light brown, white, and black to complete apparel crafted to honor the time period.

Italy’s urban culture trailblazer Slam Jam teams up with adidas for both  heritage and modern silhouettes. Reimagining the Superstar 80s with a minimalist take on the model with a smooth white leather upper offset with a cream leather shell toe and a black leather heel tab. The sneaker’s medial panel includes the text “connecting tribes of like-minded people across the world.” For the POD-S3.1, pared-down style is key again with neoprene and soft leather which collide with black on the heel tab and co-branded tongue tags to unite the brands.

Inspired by military design and performance, the latest capsule from adidas and Los Angeles’ UNDEFEATED features five shoes that use black, white, and grey. The words “adidas Performance, Issue Type. Undefeated Action Capabilities” appear on the cage of the grey UltraBoost, which define the approach on two UltraBoosts, a PureBoost, a PureBoost Go, and an ADIZERO Adios. The UNDFTD military influence is visible on the subtle tiger camo, which appears on four of the five models.

adidas Originals reconstructs classic silhouettes in the ‘Never Made’ Pack. Encompassing a variety of sneakers from the brand’s past, the shoes are enhanced with updated technology, blending futuristic soles with mismatched uppers.

The pack includes the 98 X Crazy BYW – a hybrid model for greater flexibility in the foot, ZX 930 X EQT – noted as, “the classic-meets-contemporary Boost EQT midsole”, Country x Kamanda that dons a suede upper with a textured gum sole, and the Micropacer x R2 – an influential design with an NMD Boost sole.

adidas SPEZIAL by UNION LA

Union LA and adidas unite to celebrate B-Boy culture with two colorways of a Spezial Garwen sneaker and a t-shirt. Using the iron-on letter font made famous by B-boys, the collaborators designed a simple white t-shirt with  “UNION SPEZIAL CREW” on the back and a circle logo on the front. For the footwear option, the duo selected the Garwen, a sneaker inspired by the archival 70s leisure shoe called the Brisbane. Its minimal silhouette arrives in a white version with a blue hit on the heel that is lifted from a 1994 edition of the adidas 350. A tan suede model is also available with a classic gum sole to complete the vintage look.
