Air Jordan 5 JSP “Laney”

Michael Jordan’s Emsley A. Laney High School, where he famously didn’t make the Varsity team as a sophomore, inspired the famed colorway of the 2000 Air Jordan 5 Retro, and this time around that inspiration takes the high school’s colors and flips them. An aptly-named varsity royal blue upper sits atop a speckled grey midsole with hits of yellow on the heel 23 logo, the varsity-inspired Jumpman, and the liner of the sneaker. As a final nod to the high school, the footbeds also feature his number in varsity styling. Available in Men and Grade School sizing.

Available through email order on PackerShoes.com and in-store at Teaneck.

Air Jordan 5 JSP “Laney” – Varsity Royal/Varsity Maize-LT Charcoal – ($200)

Air Jordan 5 JSP “Laney”(GS) – Varsity Royal/Varsity Maize-LT Charcoal – ($150)

Air Jordan 5 Retro “International Flight” ($190)

Following the Air Jordan 3 Retro “International Flight” release, Jordan Brand again pays homage to a three city tour MJ took in 1988 with the release of the Air Jordan 5 Retro. The colorway and graphics are inspired by the street art of Barcelona, where Jordan dropped 37 in a charity game on that second stop of the tour. White tumbled leather makes up the majority of the upper, with the exception of the blue and orange graphic which peeks through from behind the translucent webbing and hits the interior on the liner. Black hits the midsole and embroidered Jumpman on the tongue and heel, and speckled orange hits the shark teeth shapes on the midsole of the forefoot.

Available for email order on August 25th at: teaneck@packershoes.com.

Following the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro camo pack for men, two Air Jordan Heiress models follow suit for women with one Air Jordan 1 Retro High Premium HC and a Air Jordan 5 Retro Premium HC. For the Air Jordan 1, black suede contrasts with hits of gold on the Swoosh, Wings logo, and tongue, all of which cover a mesh camo pattern and sit atop a smoky translucent outsole. The Air Jordan 5 has a subtle, tonal iridescent pattern throughout the upper over a white midsole and a smoky translucent outsole.

Air Jordan 5 Retro Premium HC – Black/Black-Light Bone ($160)

Air Jordan 1 Retro High Premium HC – Black/Metalic Field-Light Bone ($140)

Air Jordan 5 Retro – Dark Stucco/Fire Red ($190)

Hearkening back to the Air Jordan 5’s original fighter jet influence, the military theme hits this camo version of the famed Jordan model. Camo was last seen on the Air Jordan 5 in the Supreme collaboration, yet this time around, the pattern is limited to the heel panel and tongue. Olive green makes up the majority of the remainder of the shoe with bright red hits on the liner, midsole accent, and new heel logo.

Available this Saturday, September 2nd in-store at our Teaneck location and by email order at packerstore@icloud.com

Air Jordan 5 Retro “White Cement” ($190)
For this Air Jordan 5 Retro, Jordan Brand leans on two certain hits–the iconic silhouette of the Air Jordan 5 and the classic “Cement” colorway of the Air Jordan 4. On this “White Cement” Retro version of the famed Jordan 5, the speckled grey midsole is punctuated with hits of solid black on the tongue, heel, and the fighter-jet inspired spikes near the toe. A red Jumpman is embroidered on the heel and tongue to pop against a gleaming white upper.

Air Jordan 5 Retro – University Red/Black ($190)

In 2009, Jordan Brand issued the “Raging Bull” (or “Toro Bravo”) pack that featured a black reflective 3M model and a red suede option. This Air Jordan 5 Retro revisits that red suede iteration, but with a red midsole instead of black. Red appears throughout the upper, with the exception of the black Jumpman on the heel and the lining. A silver 3M tongue provides some pop on this tribute to a famed retro from 12 years back.

Available tomorrow, July 1st in-store at our Teaneck location and by email order at packerstore@icloud.com.

Air Jordan 5 Retro PRM – Pure Platinum ($400)

Earlier in the year, Jordan Brand released a “Take Flight” iteration of the revamped Air Jordan 5 Retro PRM with high quality materials and improved detailing. Another Pure Platinum version of the silhouette hits shelves in a clean light grey leather upper with woven leather side panels that replace the original mesh. A triangular laser-etched “Flight” lace lock gets decked out in leather, as does the interior of the shoe, with ultra-soft leather lining over a milky white translucent sole in place of the icy blue that has adorned recent models.

Available this Saturday, April 22nd in-store at our Teaneck location. Remaining pairs will be available for email order at packerstore@icloud.com.

Air Jordan V Premium – Sequoia/Metallic Gold-Vachetta Tan-Sequoia ($400)

Jordan Brand elevates the materials on this “Take Flight” edition of the Air Jordan 5 Retro. Premium sequoia nubuck drapes the upper and wraps the midsole, with vachetta tan on the tongue, all of which comes in special packaging. The shark tooth design on the shoe bag pays homage to the fighter plane detailing which designer Tinker Hatfield drew on for inspiration in crafting the original model.

Available this Saturday, February 11th in-store at our Teaneck location and by email order at packerstore@icloud.com.
