Nike revisits the Shox R4 that was first released in the year 2000 in a “Triple Black” offering. The R4 was crafted by Sergio Lozano and Bruce Kilgore (the man behind the design of the Air Force 1) and takes its inspiration from track shoes. Perforated details hit some of the panels, which rest on the silhouette’s heel cushioned by Shox technology.

Nike Air Vapormax FK 2.0 “Chinese New Year” – ($190)
Nike’s Chinese New Year capsule kicks off with an Air Vapormax FK 2 dressed in black, red, and gold. With black Flyknit over red Flywire, the upper features a large gold Swoosh on the lateral panel and a smaller gold Swoosh on the medial. Holiday-specific branding hits the tongue logo, heel tab, and footbed. A deep red Vapormax unit finishes off the model with a flair.
Nike WMNS Air Max 270 “Particle Rose” – Particle Rose/Celestial Teal – ($150)
A women’s Air Max 270 hits the store with a light punk mesh upper with hits of teal on the heel and multiple Swoosh logos. A translucent pink panel hits the heel and leads into the large Air unit on the heel which extends to the midfoot.
Nike Air Max 720 “Northern Lights” – Metallic Silver/Black – ($180)
Nike adds a new member to the Air Max family with the Air Max 720. Boasting its tallest Air unit yet (beating the next highest by 6mm), this new model was cooked up Dylan Raasch and Jesi Small of Nike Sportswear. This inaugural colorway takes a “Northern Lights” theme with an iridescent black/purple perforated mesh upper with a plastic portion above the Air unit and a black heel pull.

The Nike Air Skylon 2 has proven to be a welcomed retro release with its simple 90s running style and bright color options. Arriving in a hyper royal and green color combination, this colorway keeps it classic with suede and mesh across the upper as well as the silhouette’s signature gradient panels. Hyper royal hits the Swoosh, heel logo, signature, and tongue tag, while green hits the outsole on the tongue and a stripe below the signature.
WMNS Nike Classic Cortez Leather– White/Varsity Red-Royal Blue – ($70)
Bill Bowerman was a track coach looking for an edge with a sneaker that would shave off time for his runners, and he came up with this classic Nike Cortez. This is the OG version in women’s sizing with white leather on the upper and red detailing on the Swoosh and heel cap. Blue cuts through the midsole and black hits the tongue tag logo in this classic rendition of a sneaker that gave birth to the world’s most powerful sports brand.
Nike’s iconic Air Force 1 first saw its silhouette take on a Foamposite upper in 2010, and this 2019 colorway follows suit in a bold monochromatic red colorway. From the Foamposite upper to the suede eyelets to the signature strap, this crimson take on the fusion model helps keep out the elements while maintaining a classic look.
Nike Air Vapormax Plus “Olympic” – Midnight Navy/Metallic Gold – ($190)
Drawing on the year 2000’s Olympic colorway of the Air Max Plus, this Nike Air Vapormax Plus adopts a red, navy, and gold colorway. Navy covers the upper in dark navy on the synthetic material, cage, and heel cap, while hits of gold add pop on the heel Swoosh, shank, and tongue. Red hits the heel tab and the Vapormax unit that finishes off the sneaker.
Nike taps the 1977 edition of the Blazer for three clean colorways of the Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage Pack. Habanero red, lucid green, and pacific blue colorways arrive, each with its own color on the Swoosh and heel logo, over a white leather base with shaggy grey suede mudguards. An aged sail midsole provides the finish on Nike’s first basketball juggernaut from over 40 years ago.

Nike Air Foamposite One “Midnight Navy” – Midnight Navy/Midnight Navy – ($230)
The Nike Air Foamposite One is a shoe that shocked many when it released, and now it has become a retro staple. This “midnight navy” edition features a navy Foamposite upper with a suede panel along the laces and a mesh liner. Black carbon fiber material hits the shank, while a classic gumsole finishes off this clean colorway of a classic hardwood model from Nike.
