Puma’s Clyde Court #REFORM is a shoe whose proceeds benefit The Reform Alliance, a movement to generate change in the criminal justice system. Inspired by Meek Mill’s incarceration and experiences in the system, the shoe features the “#REFORM” logo visible through the translucent outsole of the shoe. The heel features the Tommie Smith quote, “We had to be seen because we couldn’t be heard” and the upper features a stretch knit upper with contrast red stitching on the lace eyelets with a contrast Form Stripe on the lateral panel.
Puma Clyde Court Disrupt “Ocean Drive” – Biscay Green ($120)
A tropical colorway arrives and falls across this “Ocean Drive” colorway of the Puma Clyde Court. A pink Form Stripe cuts across a teal mesh upper and a black heel cup with a hit of teal on the heel logo. A semi-translucent midsole sits over a pink outsole, which brings the Miami-themed edition together.
Puma continues its return to basketball with a “Purple Glow” colorway of the Clyde Court. Boasting a knit black upper and black plastic heel cup with white branding hits on the tongue and heel pulls, the upper sits atop a translucent cupsole with a purple outsole surrounding its hybrid cushioning technology.

Puma relaunches its basketball line with the release of the Clyde Court Disrupt. After signing a trio of promising rookies to the brand, the first sneaker to emerge pays homage to the past by enlisting the Clyde as a base and adding “1973” to the heel pull, the year the Clyde burst on the scene. To update the model for the rigors of today’s game, the upper is constructed from a knit material to add breathability and increased cushioning visible through a semi-translucent cupsole.
Available now, in-store only at our Jersey City location.
After our unique “Cow Suits” pack of Puma Clydes, two more Premium models hit the shelves in more subdued approaches with classic suede uppers and leather formstripes over clean white soles and soft leather liners. One black suede model has a bold yellow formstripe and heel tab with gold debossed logos. A cream white model features a “cabernet” colored formstripe and heel logo for a strong retro look.
A downtown L.A. staple, Chris Marker’s STAMPD brand has made its name on minimal constructions of classic silhouettes. This season’s Puma collaborations include a Clyde and three Trinomic Woven models. The Clyde is decked in a perforated whisper white leather upper and a non-branded heel over a plain white midsole and outsole. The Trinomic Woven versions offer three distinct looks: a triple white High Rise version, a fully Steel Grey monotone iteration, and a black woven upper on a grey Trinomic sole.
We here at Packer gave the Puma Clyde three bold looks with our Clyde Frazier Cow Suits collection, and now the famed COOGI brand tackles the same model. Taking the signature multi-patterned knit fabric, one model’s upper gets fully draped in a dizzying array of colors and lines with a contrasting black formstripe, heel, and leather lining. A more toned-down version features a black leather upper with the sweater pattern on the formstripe and on the lining. To complete the luxe editions, each shoe also has 18k gold plating on the lace tips and eyelets.
The all-over version of the shoe will be available tonight at midnight EST online at PackerShoes.com. The Black/Multicolor version will be available at midnight EST next Thursday, May 25th online at PackerShoes.com.
Another pairing, dubbed the NTRVL collection, from Puma and Jeff Staple results in a classic Clyde and an Ignite Limitless. The Clyde is draped in both dark and light grey suede with hits of pink on the heel, lining, co-branded footbed, and under the translucent outsole. A new Ignite Limitless also uses both light and dark grey on the one-piece sock upper, NTRVL branding on the forefoot elastic, and pink on the outsole, tongue logo, and footbed.
Coming on the heels of our collaborative project, the Puma Clyde “Snake” Pack puts a material twist on the classic silhouette. Draped in snakeskin, the shoe sits atop an off-white cupsole and is finished off with silver branding and black laces.
All 3 colors are available now at both Packer locations and online at PackerShoes.com
A fashion icon both as a player and as a television personality, Walt “Clyde” Frazier’s sense of style is one of the most recognizable in the world of sports. His ’70s retro look was known for turtlenecks, fur coats and hats, and a love for animal prints that still carries on today through his unrivalled wardrobe stocked with a colorful assortment of wild custom-tailored suits. That sense of adventurous style is what we channeled into our collaborative renditions of his classic eponymous PUMA silhouette.
Among all the bold prints and patterns that Clyde has worn over the years, it’s hard to top his cow print looks. The Black & Red colorways of the Puma Clyde are constructed with plush suede uppers, each pair complimented with a faux fur cow print Formstripe inspired by two of Clyde’s most iconic suits. The cow print appears again on the sockliner with Packer branding in a gold print. A premium leather tongue label, milky white sole and gold branding throughout provide the finishing touches.
In celebration of this special collaboration, PUMA and Packer decided to add our own contribution to the incomparable cow suit legacy by producing an exclusive Friends & Family pair to drop alongside the other two. This special pair is decked out with an all faux cow hide upper dipped in a deep royal blue and complemented with gold accents and an orange cow print sockliner, all paying homage to Clyde’s longstanding impact on New York basketball.
The blue cow print edition will drop exclusively at Packer, limited to only 73 pairs as a nod to the 1973 NY Knicks championship season that Frazier played a huge part in.
To further bring this concept to life, we partnered with Clyde’s longtime tailor, Mohan’s in NYC, to create a custom blue cow print suit made from the very same material as the shoes. The suit will be presented to Clyde on his birthday this Wednesday as a gift from Packer, PUMA and Mohan’s.
All three colorways will release at 12 noon EST this Friday, March 31st, both in-store and online at PackerShoes.com for a retail price of $110.
