We are proud to define the next chapter of the ongoing adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange in mutual cooperation with European retailer, Solebox.
In the spirit of the Sneaker Exchange campaign, we were inspired by the idea of geography and what it meant for two shops from two continents to come together to create a common vision.
For our concept, we looked to the Earth’s tectonic plates — specifically the place where the North American and Eurasian plates meet. Within a national park in Iceland, the Silfra Rift not only joins the two continents together, but is also a world renowned scuba diving sight known for its clear waters and the unique ability to swim in between the huge rock walls of the continental plates.
The Packer x Solebox x adidas Consortium “Silfra Rift” pack features the adidas UltraBoost Mid and the adidas Energy Boost and will be exclusively dropping at both partner stores on Nov. 4th.
Stay tuned for further info leading up to the release…
Packer x Solebox x adidas Consortium UltraBoost Mid
As part of Reebok’s 30th anniversary celebration of the Classic Leather, the iconic footwear brand presents its latest reiteration with another member of the Certified Network, this time collaborating with none other than Berlin’s Solebox. Predominately enveloped in a mixture of black waxy leather and red suede, the sneaker boasts subtle details which add the premium upper. Lined with terry cotton for comfort, the Solebox x Reebok Classic Leather also sees a contrasting white midsole, both red and black waxed cotton laces, and a reflective heel accent that sports the Solebox logo.
The Reebok x Solebox Classic Leather Lux “Sturnella Militaris” releases IN-STORE tomorrow (Saturday – Monday 25th) at 12pm noon. Any remaining stock will be made available online at www.PackerShoes.com @ 3pm Saturday afternoon.
Originally released 20 years ago, the Torsion Allegra makes a return in the form of a adidas Consortium Solebox collaboration and the inline EQT model. Employing the Berlin-based retailer’s oft-used neon green hue to dress the shoe’s mesh inlay and lining, the resulting colorway provides a distinctive look to the traditional archival silhouette. The design is capped off with a red Consortium fabric loop and embossed Solebox branding across the heel of the right shoe. Finally, the built-in Torsion bar system, relegated almost as an afterthought, gives the shoe its name while providing a stable ride.
Both editions of the Torsion Allegra will be available in-store tomorrow (2.02.13) @ 12pm. Retail for both will be $135. Purchases will be limited to one pair per customer.
Any remaining stock will be available for purchase online @ PackerShoes.com the following Monday (2.04.13) @ 12pm.
