“When we initially introduced the “Dirty Buck” concept as part of the Gel-Lyte III anniversary celebration, it was something which was so out of the box design-wise, yet at the same time so fitting for us to represent our roots and the legacy of our original store. When it comes to style — heritage, history and timelessness are more than just adjectives, they’re the building blocks of what fashion is, has been and will be. Does style change and evolve? Of course, but its core values do not.”

“There were so many other great colorways and ideas that we had left on the creative cutting room floor when working on the “Dirty Buck” that we always felt there was more to be done with the concept. With our 110th year anniversary approaching, we thought that telling this story with a partner like J.Crew was not only outside the realm of what traditional retail is used to, but also a natural fit in terms of celebrating the idea of timeless menswear cornerstones.”

Nike Air More Uptempo ’96 – White/Deep Royal Blue-Team Orange ($160)

Nike has updated the ever-popular Air More Uptempo in a Knicks-inspired colorway dubbed “The Dunk.” The shoe features a white leather upper with royal blue across the “AIR” branding and hits of team orange throughout. A silhouette of Pippen’s infamous dunk over Patrick Ewing in the 1994 Eastern Conference Semifinals sits on the insole, adding the finishing touch.

Available today in-store at our Teaneck location. Any remaining pairs will be available for email order at packerstore@icloud.com after 2pm.

Air Jordan 11 Retro Low IE – White/Gym Red-Black ($170)

An IE version of the Air Jordan 11 arrives in a simple red and white colorway. Elephant print red leather wraps the shoe over white tumbled leather, while the classic Jordan 11 red translucent outsole finishes off look.

Available today, September 23rd in-store at our Teaneck location and by email order at packerstore@icloud.com

Nike Classic Cortez Nylon LHM – Ink/Ink-White ($100)

We recently saw the release of Latino Heritage Month Air Max 1, and now a Nike Classic Cortez Nylon LHM arrives as another model featuring the work of a Latin street artist. This time, Chilean artist INTI (whose name adorns the black leather heel tabs) infuses different symbols from Latin culture on the unique print across the upper. Black suede appears on the heel, toe, and tongue, providing a solid contrast for the print, while purple hits the Swoosh and a portion of the midsole.

Available now in-store at our Teaneck location and by email order at packerstore@icloud.com

adidas Consortium x The Good Will Out NMD_CS1 – Triple Black ($220)

adidas Consortium links up Germany’s The Good Will Out boutique to release a blacked out “Ankoku Toshi Jutsu” NMD_CS1. As an homage to the ninja who moves silently, the heel tabs say “The Art of Seeing through Darkness” and “The Good Will Out” in both English and Japanese. Tonal black Primeknit drapes the upper over all black Boost on the midsole with black pods and a serrated black outsole to complete the look.

Available Friday night at midnight EST online at PackerShoes.com. Also available Saturday, September 23rd in-store at both Packer locations. First come, first serve.

Nike Air Max 1 Anniversary – White/University Red ($140)

30 years ago, Nike released the innovative and genre-shifting Air Max 1. Earlier this year, in celebration of Air Max Day, they re-released the OG red and blue colorways in limited quantities, and now the red colorway is set to release again in all of its original glory with suede and mesh over its iconic white midsole.

EDIT: Nike has pushed the launch of this shoe back. The shoe will be available Tuesday, September 26th in-store at our Teaneck location and by email order at packerstore@icloud.com
