Pharrell Williams x adidas NMD HU and Tennis HU V2 “Solar Pack”

Pharrell Williams and adidas again link up for another collection consisting of both NMD HU and Tennis HU models.  Boasting bold tribal-inspired color combinations, this “Solar Pack” keeps the familiar styling of the NMD HU and adds white panels with large messages that say “3MPOW3R 1N5P1RE” and ” M1L3L3 (which means “forever” in Swahili), ” and “MOTH3R L4ND.” A yellow and black model has a red outsole and black bumpers and lace cage, a teal and black model has an orange outsole and purple bumpers and cage, and a pink and black model features a yellow outsole and blue bumpers and cage.

While the Tennis HU silhouette remains the same, the updated style consists of a suede panel on the forefoot and a leather strip on the lace eyelets.  Yellow and black melange fabric hits the upper of one model while a red and black melange hits the other, and each has leather tongue logos and heel tabs.

Both styles available on August 18th in-store at our Jersey City location (store hours: 12PM – 7PM)  and online on at Midnight EST.

adidas and Stella McCartney collaborate again for an innovative take on women’s models of the Ultraboost, the Ultraboost X, and the Pureboost X. The Ultraboost has a bold color option that mixes gold and orange hues and another monochrome option in rose over a Boost midsole. Monochrome grey and neon versions of the Ultraboost X feature an elastic strap design over a Boost midsole with a raised midfoot. A minimal Pureboost model rounds out this collection with a raised midfoot in a black model and another colorway with black, brown, maroon, black, and pink over a midsole with rubber and Boost cushioning.

ADIDAS POD-S3.1-Black/Black/Neon ($130)

Taking cues from their mid-90s Point of Deflection system, adidas releases a new silhouette called the POD S 3.1. The idea behind the design is to have separate areas of the shoe receive impact to optimize shock absorption. A black knit upper sits atop a hard plastic shank that separates the BOOST midsole from the forefoot with branding details that hit the lace tabs and heel tab.

Inspired by the pitch, the ACE Tango from adidas features an upper with two weaves, the open weave and Primeknit, in a flexible, lightweight upper. Boost handles the cushioning on the midsole in this model that arrives in two colorways: black and red and navy, blue, and pink.
