adidas by Have a Good Time

adidas is back at it with Tokyo’s Have a Good Time boutique for a Gazelle Super and a Superstar 80s inspired by the 90s. The Gazelle Super gets a blue suede upper, which is inspired by Argentinian soccer jerseys. Black Three Stripes branding and a logo window are devoted to the boutique, as is the lining. The Superstar 80s gets laser-engraved branding on the midsole sidewall and the boutique’s logo on the tongue and sockliner on this minimal white leather Superstar 80s with black Three Stripes and heel caps.

In anticipation of the 2019 launch of the adidas Nite Jogger, Packer conceptualized the story of the Night Dweller – a person whose creative pursuits come alive at night, featuring one of today’s most prolific wildstyle graffiti artists, HOACS.

Originally designed in the late 1970s as a shoe for those who ran during the murky hours of dusk and dawn, the high-visibility ethos of the adidas Nite Jogger has been reimagined with a contemporary approach.

The 2019 iteration offers full-length Boost cushioning, ripstop nylon, mesh knit, and suede overlays that help balance the OG feel with modern day construction and technology. The launch colorway pays homage to the classic version with splashes of vibrant orange throughout the black-based upper.

The adidas Nite Jogger ($140) releases at 12 Midnight EST on Saturday, January 12th online at PackerShoes.com and in-store at 12 noon EST at both locations (sizes 7 – 13).

adidas by Y-3

Yoji Yamamoto and adidas again unite for a Y-3 ZX Run and two colorways of the Y-3 Ratio Racer. As the name implies, the ZX Run draws inspiration from the famed ZX series, using both suede and smooth leather across the upper with perforated leather on the heel cap and tongue. A red stripe appears below the laces, while branding appears on a tonal perforated logo and bold black branding on the back. Bearing resemblance to the NMD and I-5923 with a knit upper and bootie construction, the Ratio Racer shrinks the heel height for a shift in perspective. A predominantly black Primeknit upper with white dots and stripes appears on one offering, while the other reverses that pattern with branding on the tongue and an outsole with visible branding.

Available now on PackerShoes.com and in-store at Jersey City.
