Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “A Star Is Born” – Black/Varsity Red-Sail – $160

Following the “Rookie of the Year” edition of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG another early career inspiration hits this “Sports Illustrated” edition of the Jordan 1. The first time Jordan appeared on the cover of the magazine was in the December 10th, 1984 edition, with the headline “A Star is Born,” which is printed in bold letters inside the collar flaps. This model takes the black, white, and red tumbled leather upper from Jordan’s Bulls uniform, but also mixes in the side panels from the Milwaukee Bucks’ jerseys with tonal green, black, and white stripes on this model’s woven Swoosh. Light blue also appears on the footbed, the color of the Sports Illustrated lettering on that issue.

Available on 12/27 at 12 Noon EST through email order on and in-store at our Teaneck location.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Origin Story” – Gym Red/Black-White-Photo Blue – ($160)

Matching the pair seen in the film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse on Miles Morales, the “Origin Story” Jordan 1 High OG features a 3M reflective textile red upper, with glossed-out black accents by the ankle collar, Swoosh branding on the sides and a translucent icy blue outsole.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Rookie of the Year” – Golden Harvest/Black-Sail – ($160)

A brown button-up shirt that Michael Jordan wore when he accepted his Rookie of the Year award in 1985 gives this Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG its inspiration. With tumbled white leather as the base and brown suede overlays, black hits the collar, Wings logo, and Swoosh. Jordan’s stats and portions of his acceptance speech appear on the inside of the panels on the collar eyelets to honor MJ’s achievement.

Available in-store only at our Teaneck location.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Court Purple” ($160)

The iconic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG gets a familiar colorblocking using black, white, and purple. Tumbled purple leather hits the collar, heel, and toebox with black on the throat, Swoosh, and upper collar. Sail white hits the quarter and medial panels, adding contrast in a formula that has worked well on several iterations of this classic sneaker.

Available in-store only at our Teaneck location on September 22nd (First come, first serve).

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Guava Ice” – Guava Ice / Sail ($160)

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG’s iconic silhouette gets a sail colorway with heavy doses of branding in mint green. Leather and synthetic materials hit the upper in sail and cream white while splashy “NIKE” and “AIR” branding in mint green on one shoe, along with tonal text with Nike branding on the other for an Air Jordan 1 that has more than meets the eye at first glance.

A minimalist duo of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OGs offers flexible wardrobe options for the summer. A white model in full grain leather has a black Swoosh, Wings logo, and liner contrasted with a red tongue logo. Black leather pairs with a black outsole on the other colorway in the pack, along with with a white Swoosh, midsole, and Wings logo on the collar.
