Vans Authentic 44 DX (Anaheim Factory) “OG Camo” ($80) and Vans Era 95 DX (Anaheim Factory) “Camo Tape” ($80)
Vans brings to us a new take on the original Anaheim factory models: the Authentic 44DX and Era 95 DX. The Authentic 44 DX comes to us with a full OG camo printed canvas upper while the Era 95 DX is donned in a two-tone canvas upper with camo print on the lateral side of midsole and checker board print on medial side. Both contain lace construction and a vulcanized rubber outsole.
Vans’ Anaheim line offers classics with updated technology and details from their original factory releases. The Old Skool 36 DX gets a signature black and white checkerboard treatment over a white midsole with an UltraCush liner. The checkerboard reappears in an all-over treatment on the 10 oz. canvas upper of the Authentic 44 DX with high gloss foxing tape. Departing from the mold of Vans stalwarts, the UltraRange Rapidweld is a newer take on minimalism with UltraCush foam cushioning, an updated tread on the outsole, and Lux-Liner seamless inner sock on a monochromatic black and white model.
The Anaheim Factory Pack is available now in-store at both Packer locations. All 3 styles are now available online at PackerShoes.com
The Vans Anaheim Factory collection honors the home of their first warehouse with models that have vintage detailing. Factory releases highlight the location of the first Vans factory with the use of 10oz canvas with an upgraded UltraCrush lining and higher gloss foxing tape on a black Authentic 44 DX and a classic white Old Skool 36 DX. The heavier canvas and suede combo also appears on the Sk8-Hi 38 DX with an interplay of black on the eyestay, tongue, and heel and gray on the side panels with the Vans stripe in white.
