In a World Cup year, adidas Consortium and Boston’s Bodega tackle collaborative renditions of the Kamanda and Sobakov based on the style of the terraces and the performance of the pitch. Boasting a tonal black ballistic nylon upper, olive knit tongue, and khaki tab on the heel, the Kamanda also has a dark semi-translucent outsole with Bodega branding in bright orange to match the liner. A ribbed suede upper appears on the tan Sobakov with a re-imagined reflective Three Stripes and orange liner, tongue tag, and laces. A semi-translucent gum outsole reveals the Bodega logo beneath.
For the fourth installment of adidas Consortium’s Sneaker Exchange program, Newcastle’s END. links up with Boston’s own Bodega to reinterpret the 1970s classic Haven and the new INIKI Runner. Taking cues from contemporary clothing, the INIKI features patchwork Boro denim and Sashiko stitching throughout the upper, while sitting on a white Boost sole and gum outsole for a crafted look. The Haven is draped in a soft grey suede, with Boro denim on the 3-Stripes branding and a gum outsole tying the pack together.
Available this Friday, July 7th at midnight EST online at PackerShoes.com. Also available Saturday, July 8th in-store at both Packer locations.

Modeled after one of the popular 3D first person shooter games of the ’90s, Star Fox, the Bodega x New Balance 577 HYPRCAT takes its inspiration from the game’s outer space setting and vintage graphics. In the midst of the Sega vs. Nintendo wars, game developers squeezed in every graphical improvement they could. Inspired by Nintendo’s push to include 3D effects in their games, our designers included similar polygon graphics into this project, specifically on the tongue and sole. Click through for more design and release info, as well as some more visual knowledge.
The HYPRCAT features gray perforated nubuck suede on the toe and tongue, and traditional suede on the heel cup. The heel tab and parts of the mid panel are a soft purple suede making for a nice contrast throughout. The classic ‘N’ logo is a yellow stitched suede on top of a smooth donegal fleck material with a variety of colors throughout. The front portion of the midsole and the inner neoprene lining is a soft pink along with magenta stripes on the laces. The out sole is a light translucent blue.
The Bodega x New Balance 577 “HYPRCAT” launches in-store only this Saturday (September 21st) @ 12pm noon EST. Retail is $160 USD.
Purchases will be limited to one (1) pair per customer.
