After a 2017 collaboration, A$AP Nast and Converse again join forces for two Jack Purcell (JP) Chukka Mid colorways. Each option has a single color canvas upper, black rubber overlays that wrap around the shoe and toe cap, and a One Star logo on the heel. Burnt orange “Pumpkin Spice” makes up the upper of one offering, while a lime “Beechnut” colors the other. Bold “JP” branding hits the footbeds as a final touch on this minimally-styled collaboration.

Brain Dead x Converse One Star – Egret/Black/White – ($120)
LA-based Brain Dead and Converse released a pattern-frenzied capsule in October, and now the two again unite for a One Star. Dressing the minimal silhouette with multiple patterns, this model utilizes asymmetrical, mis-matched polka dots with zebra and cheetah prints. The foxing tape features the text: “To see and be seen as far as the eye can see. Who Controls the Control Men. The same elsewhere.” A black outsole that sits below the cream white midsole finishes this model which showcases Brain Dead’s irreverent styling.
Available in-store only at Teaneck and Jersey City on February 15th at 12PM Noon EST.
CLOT has unveiled its latest project with Converse, dubbed the “Ice Cold” pack. Inspired by polar bears, the collaboration features two models, the Chuck 70 and Jack Purcell.
The Chuck 70 Hi features a tri-panel Sherpa execution patchworked together in a variety of off-white shades, with fur lining on the interior for ultimate coziness. Zipper closures on the heel ensure easy foot access, and Polar Bear paw prints are found on the outsole as a final tribute to the endangered animal.
The Converse Jack Purcell Low comes dressed in a cream suede, while Sherpa lining within the upper creates an incredibly comfortable feel, enhanced by a removed heel counter for a “slipper” like approach to the shoe. This pair also utilizes gum bottoms with a black paw print stamped at the toe.
Converse delivers three silhouettes: the One Star Academy OX, the Lucky Star HI, and the Chuck 70 HI, each with a different approach. A brash cheetah print falls across the pony hair upper of the Chuck 70 HI with a black medial All-Star logo to pair with the heel stripe and heel tab on the midsole. A 1969 model called the “Lucky Star” sees a rerelease with the original logo on the medial panel, a black canvas upper, added eyelets, and white contrast stitching. A low-top One Star Academy OX rounds out the offerings in a suede “amber ochre” tone with a black stripes and star branding on a white midsole.
UNDFTD and Converse again link up for a varsity jacket-inspired Chuck 70. Elements of the Americana staple jacket appear with chainstitched branding on the tongue and a bright chenille tiger splashed across the upper in orange, white, black, and pink. Undefeated branding also hits the footbed on this bold collaborative spin on an iconic sneaker.
This Converse Chuck 70 HI model showcases Los Angeles’ Brain Dead brand’s DIY mentality with multiple patterns found on each panel. Inspired by prints from the brand’s archives, Zeba, Camo, Leopard, and American Flag stars are found on the mismatched lateral and medial panels of the right and left shoes for a punk feel. The lateral panels feature a rubberized Brain Dead logo to cement the collaboration. Dropping alongside the Chuck 70 HI comes gear that includes a 50-50 bomber jacket and hoodie, “Bananas” sweater and more.
