KicksLab x Puma Disc Blaze “Desert Trooper” ($150)
Puma’s Disc Blaze gets another boutique application, this time from Harajuku’s own KicksLab. The battered suede upper takes on the look of desert sand, while the black mesh toe box provides some contrast.
Atmos x Titolo x Puma Disc Blaze – “Night Jungle” ($150)
In a unique blend of patterns and colors, Japan’s atmos utilitzes a camo print on the forefoot, while leaving the rest of the Puma Disc model in stark black and electric green with co-branding on the footbed.
Founded in 1999, ALIFE has since become one of New York City’s premier lifestyle retail experiences that have always shed new light on street culture with a focus on original art and creativity.
ALIFE’s concept store – located in Manhattan’s Lower East Side – is a one of a kind boutique that stocks an impressive collection of new and authentic product that continues to elevate street style to a new level. The brand’s store is also home to the ‘Alife Sessions’, a series of ever-growing events with some of the world’s biggest musical artists. The first drop seamlessly pulls together Alife’s diverse creativity while staying true to PUMA’s heritage. The apparel tells the story of Downtown New York; an integral part of PUMA’s rich street wear history.
Bright prints play on key ALIFE landmarks that bring the collection to life. Influences include green photographic stills of the infamous in-store fish tank, and the three-diamond logo of ARC (Alife Rivington Club), ALIFE’s members only boutique.
The spring/summer ALIFE x Puma collection consist of classic PUMA silhouettes given an Alife makeover: The Trinomic Disc ($150), Blaze of Glory ($135), Suede Mid ($110), and a R698 ($135).
Look for the ALIFE x Puma Spring/Summer Collection to launch Saturday – May 2nd at 12pm noon EST both in-store and online at PackerShoes.com.
Back in the 1990s, running shoes weren’t afraid to show off their goods. PUMA added to the visual technology boom with Trinomic: clear rubber cells that collapsed and rebounded for cushioning, stability, motion control and double-takes.
Teaming up with Sophia Chang for this collaborative effort on the Trinomic Disc, design elements like the “Believe the Hype” pull tab at the tongue and uniformed black color makes this shoe stand out among the rest.
Offered in a triple black/gold and blue color options, the Sophia Chang x Puma Trinomic Disc Collection is now available both in-store and online at PackerShoes.com.
Via SNKRKR: After launching their lifestyle-meets-performance Mesh Evolution pack part 1 with our beloved Blaze of Glory silhouette, PUMA are back for round two and don’t it look oh so nice.
