Air Jordan 12 Retro PRM – College Navy/Sail-University Red (MENS $190, GS $150)
Commemorating Jordan’s 1996 trip to Tokyo for a basketball clinic, the Air Jordan 12 Retro “International Flight” features kimono-like patterns embossed on a navy suede upper. Details include a similar printed sock liner, a white snake-embossed mudguard, and kanji characters spelling out “Jordan” on the heel tab.
Following the Air Jordan 3 Retro “International Flight” release, Jordan Brand again pays homage to a three city tour MJ took in 1988 with the release of the Air Jordan 5 Retro. The colorway and graphics are inspired by the street art of Barcelona, where Jordan dropped 37 in a charity game on that second stop of the tour. White tumbled leather makes up the majority of the upper, with the exception of the blue and orange graphic which peeks through from behind the translucent webbing and hits the interior on the liner. Black hits the midsole and embroidered Jumpman on the tongue and heel, and speckled orange hits the shark teeth shapes on the midsole of the forefoot.
Air Jordan 3 Retro – Sail/Sport Royal-Fire Red ($190)
Inspired by a charity game in 1988 where Jordan dropped 54, the Air Jordan 3 Retro “International Flight” features a predominantly white upper with grey elephant print hits throughout. Red and blue hit the midsole in a unique blocking, while star patterns on the sockliner and MJ’s signature on the left tongue add the finishing touch.
