Nike Air Max 97 OG – Metallic Silver/Varsity Red ($160)

Continuing the celebration of the Air Max 97’s 30 Year Anniversary, its most famous original colorway gets another release. Originally designed by Christian Tresser, legend has it that the silver colorway got the name “silver bullet” after Japan’s Bullet Train,¬†yet history tells us that he was actually inspired to make this colorway by the titanium metallic finishes on mountain bikes. 30 years ago, the colorway took off, and it enjoys a restock in its original form.
