1991 saw the release of Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 180 with a larger Air bubble, and this “Night Ops” version blacks out the silhouette with volt hits. The upper is crafted from ripstop nylon with suede overlays and a stingray-patterned Swoosh. Subtle bursts of volt appear on the Air unit and heel logo, while a translucent outsole gives the model a clean finish.
Adding a Vapormax Air unit to the famed neon colorway of the Nike Air Max 95 creates a fusion of old and new. The iconic neon and grey colorway of the original Air Max 95 is preserved here, keeping the volt hits on the lace eyelets, Swoosh, and tongue logo. A blacked-out Vapormax unit replaces the Air bubbles from the original model to add an upgrade while preserving the styling of its predecessor.
