Introduced in 1992, the Air Max 180 is the brainchild of legendary designer, Tinker Hatfield. In most instances, the otherwise understated design featured pops of color around the 180 degree visible Air Unit as well as on the tongue, Swoosh, and heel counter. It quickly grew in popularity when it became a favorite among select players on the ’92 Dream Team in Barcelona.

The latest iterations of the Air Max 180 take it back to the early ‘90s. One pair is predominantly summit white, with bright concord accents and a metallic gold Swoosh. You may know this pair as being the one His Airness wore on several occasions in Barcelona. The other pair, better recognized as an OG Air Max 180 colorway, features a white summit base with magenta and laser crimson accents.

Look for both editions of the Nike Sportswear Air Max 180 QS to launch this Saturday, November 23rd in-store only @ Packer Shoes.

Starting his eleventh year in the league, with two gold medals, two championship rings and four MVP trophies, LeBron James continues to succeed by constantly improving his game.

Like his game, the latest shoe in his signature lineup has been honed to near perfection. A new layer of ultra-springy Lunarlon foam sits on top of the Nike Zoom units for major cushioning with every step. One of Nike’s latest innovations—Hyperposite—adds durability and breathability where it counts. And when it comes to design, a variety of bold colorways turns heads on the court.

Nike’s designers channeled LeBron’s on-court persona to tell his story via the King’s Pride colorway. The dark loden upper and floral collar lining represent the lion and its surrounding wildlife. The inner tongue graphic spells out the number six while highlighting the Roman numeral XI, and the sockliner reads “LeBron” when it’s right side up and “James” when it’s upside down. A closer look at the Swoosh reveals a modern chainmail pattern in which the initials “LJ” make up the links and repeat at graduating weights.

The Nike Basketball LeBron XI “King’s Pride” launches in-store only Saturday, October 12th @ 12pm noon EST. Retail is $200. Purchases are limited to one (1) pair per customer.

Kevin Durant’s collegiate days in Texas left a lasting impact on him. Texans’ friendliness and hospitality, combined with the unique ‘keep it weird’ nature of Austin, made an impression he’ll never forget. Paying tribute to Texas, the KD VI Texas colorway continues the deep storytelling that began when KD launched his sixth Nike signature shoe in his hometown of Seat Pleasant, Maryland, in June.

Bringing the Texas big sky to life, the shoe includes a speckled upper representing stars. Burnt orange pays tribute to KD’s beloved Longhorns, while the shoe pops with green glow colored details.

The Nike Basketball KD VI ‘Texas’ launches Oct. 10 in-store only @ Packer Shoes. Retail is $130 USD (no phone orders).

While the NBA season official starts in late October, for the past few years Christmas day has become the unofficial season opener for Nike’s basketball division. With epic Christmas day match-ups involving 3 of Nike’s biggest signature athletes (LA Lakers’ Kobe Bryant, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant & the Miami Heat’s LeBron James, respectfully), all eyes will be on the trio’s footwear for that evening. With inspirations ranging from childhood video game memories (KD), to exotic snakeskins of the rhinoceros viper (Kobe), to rare diamonds (LeBron), you’ll definitely want to secure one if not all of this year’s “Christmas Pack” releases.

All 3 shoes will be available in-store only @ 12pm noon Wednesday (12/26). Purchases will be limited to one (1) pair per customer. No phone orders.
